USAMMC-K Medical Maintenance offers a wide variety of services to meet your needs.

 

REPAIR & RETURN

Maintenance should always be performed at the lowest level possible according to maintenance allocation charts (MACs). Non-Mission Capable - Maintenance (NMC-M) medical devices requiring repairs that exceed the unit capabilities or authorized level of repair should be evacuated to USAMMC-K for Repair & Return. The owning unit shall reimburse the repair parts utilized to bring equipment to Fully Mission Capable status.

CALIBRATE & RETURN

TB 43-180 “Calibration and Repair Requirements for The Maintenance of Army Materiel” is updated monthly and provides guidance on how TMDE is supported. Most Special Purpose Medical TMDE is supported by the Medical Maintenance Operation Division (MMOD) at Tracy, CA. If MMOD-Tracy does not support a Special Purpose TMDE device identified as “VENDOR” supported, USAMMC-K will evacuate TMDE to the appropriate vendor for calibration. Vendor calibration services are provided on a reimbursable basis.

CONTACT TEAMS

Medical devices requiring support are primarily evacuated by USAMMC-K Medical Maintenance located at Camp Carroll. When evacuation is not economical or technically feasible, Medical Maintenance offers technical assistance visits to service and repair medical devices.
 

REPAIR CYCLE FLOAT

RCF is a Headquarters Department of the Army (HQDA) authorized of selected end items with a Line Item Number (LIN) and National Item Identification Number (NIIN). The RCF assets are managed at the national level and maintained by the commodities Life Cycle Management Command (LCMC). The goal of the RCF program is to maintain established readiness levels in support of Fleet Readiness, the Organic Industrial Base (OIB) and Theater Prioritization.

USAMMC-K Medical Maintenance maintains the Medical RCF Stock for Korea. Contact the Medical Maintenance team directly for current RCF request and procedures.
 

REPAIR PARTS

All parts required to complete repairs for MTOE and TDA-supported medical devices should be purchased through the supporting maintenance activity. However, USAMMC-K Medical Maintenance maintains a stock of common medical repair parts that can be requested as reimbursable. Contact the Medical Maintenance team directly for the most up-to-date inventory. All requests are subject to approval by the Chief of Medical Maintenance.
