Active Stock Listing (ASL)
BACKGROUND
USAMMC-K stocks medical surgical and pharmaceutical supplies which maintain a stockage requirement of at least six recurring demands recorded within 180 days (total quantity in the demands of 10 or more).
FEATURES
Customers who build their ASL with USAMMC-K have the advantage of keeping items on the shelf instead of ordering randomly and waiting two to three weeks to receive from the vendor stateside.
BENEFITS
Once orders are created and the ASL is built, USAMMC-K will keep those supplies and/or meds on the shelf. We stock customers’ wants and use them with an accurate ordering history. Items used daily, weekly, and monthly can be ordered faster and delivered in the shortest amount of time.
TOOLS & RESOURCES
Find an accurate ASL by using MedPDB. MedPDB will show you what items are in the USAMMC-K catalog, which items are stocked, and which items, if ordered, will need an NIR.

Purchasing through Prime Vendor - Cardinal Health
BACKGROUND
Cardinal Health is our prime vendor. This is the source of supply that provides the fastest delivery time on materiel’s.
FEATURES
Most items stocked at the USAMMC-K warehouse are also stocked at prime vendor. Those items not stocked at our warehouse we try to procure through prime vendor because delivery is the quickest.
BENEFITS
Items ordered through prime vendor can be delivered within 10-14 days. This is the fastest way to get materiel to our customers if we do not stock the item in our warehouse.

Purchasing through ECAT (Electronic Catalog)
BACKGROUND
A catalog accessed on the web to show materiel’s on DAPA agreements and purchased throughout all DOD customers.
FEATURES
Allows items to be procured through current contracts with DOD. Most items are on DAPA agreements and can be purchased by USAMMC-K if they are on the OCONUS catalog. Any items on the CONUS catalog, we can ask to be extended to the OCONUS catalog so that we can order.
BENEFITS
Materiel’s are shipped to USAMMC-K within three to four weeks. A majority of items are shipped directly to the USAMMC-K warehouse. Some items are shipped using the MAB (Medical Air Bridge) in California. ECAT also usually provides the lowest prices available for materiels that are not available through PV.

Purchasing through DLA (Defense Logistics Agency)
FEATURES
Orders are submitted to DLA to procure items that may be in stock at DLA depots. If the item is not stocked, DLA works with multiple vendors to award a contract for that item. The materiel will then be shipped to the USAMMC-K warehouse or through the use of the MAB.
BENEFITS
This will be our primary way of ordering supplies during Transition to Hostilities (TTH) so it is good practice to keep this system of ordering current. Also, many military specific items can be ordered through DLA.

Purchasing through BPAs (Blanket Purchase Agreements)
BACKGROUND
BPAs are typically used when no other source of supply can provide the item requested.
FEATURES
USAMMC-K will work with a contracting office to create an agreement with a vendor for specific items. These vendors are located in both Korea and the continental United States.
BENEFITS
Allows customers to order non-standard items not found in other catalogs of PV, ECAT and DLA.

Purchases via local vendors often happens because of our OCONUS location with materiel's that have short expiration dates or items with short shelf lives.
FEATURES
Allows our customers to receive materiel with the best possible shelf life.
BENEFITS
Customers receive items they can use for a longer period of time. Less possibilities of materiel expiring before use.
