Turn-in of designated medical materiel (medsurg, hazmat, controlled and or non-controlled expired pharmaceuticals) may be returned to USAMMC-K utilizing the contracted courier service only if prior coordination with USAMMC-K customer service support has been confirmed. Appropriate turn-in documentation (e.g. DA Form 3161) must accompany with all medical materiel turn-in’s.

Medical Chemical Defense Materiel (MCDM)
The Project Code Manager manages all contingency stock stored at the USAMMC-K warehouse. The MCDM, DH1 project, is U.S. Army Medical Materiel Agency (USAMMA) owned contingency stock that is centrally managed at the USAMMC-K warehouse by the Project Code Manager. This initial issue of DH1 MCDM stock is issued to U.S. Soldiers, KATUSAs, KSCs, mission-essential civilians and emergency essential civilians in the Korean Theatre of Operation (KTO). USAMMC-K is the only authorized turn-in location on the Korean Peninsula.

Shipping & Distribution
USAMMC-K shipping and distribution section packs, sorts and distributes medical materiel to external supported customers categorized by Areas I-IV on the Korean Peninsula and supported customers off the Korean Peninsula (e.g. Japan, Thailand). Shipping schedules are determined by historic volume and shipments are tracked with a transportation control number (TCN) and Radio Frequency Tag (please flip battery over once the tracking device has been received to extend battery life). Intransit visibility service is available for supported customers via the web.
