Integrates and synchronizes medical materiel capabilities by coordinating with the Program Executive Offices and Materiel Developers on matters of acquisition and sustainment planning, resourcing, and execution. The Acquisition and Materiel Synchronization Division (AMSD) is nested within this team. Personnel provide oversight for the synchronization of medical materiel acquisition and sustainment execution across the life cycle. The AMSD manages Transition to Sustainment processes ensuring sustainment resources are planned, programmed, and executed throughout the materiel life cycle.
