Vaccine Information

USAMMA DOC provides direct support to Defense Health Agency Immunization Healthcare Division (DHA IHD) and works closely with a large number of DoD field and fixed medical military organizations to accomplish the complex vaccine distribution mission. USAMMA DOC directs distribution of Anthrax vaccine, Smallpox vaccine, Adenovirus vaccine, Army Influenza vaccine and numerous Investigational New Drugs (IND) and other medical products. We accomplish this mission by coordinating with other agencies like the Office of the Assistant Secretary for Preparedness and Response/Strategic National Stockpile (ASPR/SNS) and the Joint Product Manager, Chemical, Biological, Radiological, and Nuclear Medical (JPM CBRN Medical) to ensure adequate supplies of vaccines are available to support DoD distribution.  USAMMA DOC also works closely with the Defense Logistics Agency – Troup Support (DLA-TS) to ensure adequate supplies of influenza vaccine for all Army requirements to include requirements for other Services within USAMMC-SWA, USAMMC-E, and USAMMC-K area of responsibilities.
