The U.S. Army Medical Materiel Center, Europe (USAMMC-E) is the executive agent responsible for directing the operations of a Theater Lead Agent for Medical Materiel (TLAMM) for:

U.S. European Command (EUCOM)
U.S. African Command (AFRICOM)
U.S. Department of State Activities

USAMMC-E is located in Germany and is a direct reporting unit to Army Medical Logistics Command. USAMMC-E also provides MOS proficiency training, overseas deployment training (National Guard and Army Reserves), and pre-deployment training to deploying units.

May 1, 2024 — U.S. Army Maj. Brenda S. Sumner joined the military as a tribute to her late mother, following her unexpected death in 1999. MORE

Maj. Brenda S. Sumner is pictured in 2018 while serving as aide-de-camp to the 44th Army Surgeon General, now-retired Lt. Gen. Nadja West. Sumner is currently serving as deputy commander for operations and the senior female Soldier at the U.S. Army Medical Materiel Center-Europe.

USAMMC-E modernization efforts improve efficiency, visibility of medical materiel
March 1, 2024 — The U.S. Army Medical Materiel Center-Europe is modernizing its distribution operations through new technologies, exploring ways to improve efficiency, while saving time and money. MORE

The new “dimensioner” system incorporates a high-tech scale with optical features that can capture images and calculate the exact dimensions and weight of items being inventoried or readied for shipment.

USAMMC-E recognized for safety culture, earns annual streamer award
December 14, 2022 — The U.S. Army Medical Materiel Center-Europe’s Headquarters and Headquarters Detachment received the Army’s Safety Excellence Streamer award Nov. 18 in recognition of its strong safety practices. MORE
