FORT MEADE, Md. - U.S. Army Medical Department Activity Commander Col. Darryl Metcalf receives his flu vaccine. On October 3, 2024, Fort George G. Meade Commander Col. Yolanda Gore and Command Sgt. Maj. Richard Moore joined the U.S. Army Medical Department Activity Commander Col. Darryl Metcalf and Command Sgt. Maj. Das’Chara Champ in receiving their 2024 flu vaccines. Active Duty and Guard/Reserve members are required to get the flu vaccine, but it is critical that everyone who is able to gets vaccinated against the flu.
