Fort Detrick contractor donates hair for cancer patient wigs
February 18, 2020 — After retiring from the U.S. Navy in 2014, Fernando Trujillo quit cutting his hair. For the Fort Detrick defense contractor, nearly six years of growth resulted in his long dark locks hanging all the way down to his waist. Then he decided to cut his hair and rather than simply hack it off, Trujillo, a survivor of salivary gland cancer, decided to donate his hair to help cancer patients. MORE

Medical Logistics drills on sustainment as DEFENDER-20 preparations continue
February 10, 2020 — U.S. Army Medical Materiel Agency leaders participated in a Sustainment Rehearsal of Concept (ROC) Drill on Jan. 16 to prepare for the kick off of DEFENDER-Europe 20, the area's largest military exercise in 25 years.
