But it's her volunteer work in her hometown of Frederick, Md. -- helping the local homeless population and assisting with the annual Great Frederick Fair -- that Bell has found most rewarding.

Army medical maintenance teams provide 'invaluable' support to National Guard

— With the overall goal of ensuring readiness for National Guard units across 23 states and territories, teams from Tobyhanna Army Depot in northeast Pennsylvania spend roughly 17 weeks a year on the road to handle medical maintenance tasks. Fort Detrick contractor donates hair for cancer patient wigs

— After retiring from the U.S. Navy in 2014, Fernando Trujillo quit cutting his hair. For the Fort Detrick defense contractor, nearly six years of growth resulted in his long dark locks hanging all the way down to his waist. Then he decided to cut his hair and rather than simply hack it off, Trujillo, a survivor of salivary gland cancer, decided to donate his hair to help cancer patients.

Medical Logistics drills on sustainment as DEFENDER-20 preparations continue
February 10, 2020
— U.S. Army Medical Materiel Agency leaders participated in a Sustainment Rehearsal of Concept (ROC) Drill on Jan. 16 to prepare for the kick off of DEFENDER-Europe 20, the area's largest military exercise in 25 years. The sustainment-focused drill allowed participating units, including foreign partners, to work through the operational plan to expose "weak links" and create a "shared understanding" of what each unit would be doing.
