USAMMA hosts detachment change of command ceremony
March 22, 2023 — The U.S. Army Medical Materiel Agency hosted a Headquarters and Headquarters Detachment, or HHD, change of command and responsibility ceremony March 17, celebrating the successes of the outgoing command team while welcoming the new. MORE

AMLC holds relinquishment of command ceremony
March 17, 2023 — U.S. Army Medical Logistics Command held a relinquishment of command ceremony March 10 at Fort Detrick, bidding farewell to outgoing Commander Col. Tony Nesbitt. MORE

Col. Tony Nesbitt, outgoing commander of U.S. Army Medical Logistics Command, embraces Col. Clayton Carr, AMLC’s assistant chief of staff for operations, following a relinquishment of command ceremony March 10 at Fort Detrick, Maryland. Nesbitt, who is retiring, passed the baton to Col. Gary Cooper, who assumed interim command for the organization.

USAMMC-E supports APS-2 medical maintenance mission
March 15, 2023 — Two medical maintenance technicians from the U.S. Army Medical Materiel Center-Europe completed an assignment at the Army’s prepositioned stocks, or APS, site in Europe, bringing more than 400 pieces of medical equipment up to full mission capability. MORE

USAMMA names Civilian of the Year
February 24, 2023 — On a day-to-day basis, there’s little that happens at the U.S. Army Medical Materiel Agency’s Medical Maintenance Operations Division at Hill Air Force Base without John Jeske’s oversight. MORE

John Jeske, interim production controller at the U.S. Army Medical Materiel Agency’s Medical Maintenance Operations Division at Hill Air Force Base in Utah, has been named USAMMA’s Civilian of the Year for 2022. Jeske also has worked as inventory manager and transportation coordinator over his five-plus years at MMOD-Hill.

AMLC Human Resources leader draws on coaching experience to build teams
February 6, 2023 — With just 4.3 seconds remaining in a tie game, Arkansas senior guard Makayla Daniels took the inbounds pass, quickly dribbled up the court and launched a last-second shot against conference rival Vanderbilt. MORE
